Best of Everything - Agenda Fusion

Best of Everything CD

Continuing with my review of great software included with the Best of Everything Software Package, next up is Agenda Fusion.

Calendar View

Agenda Fusion is one of the top Personal Information Manager (PIM) applications for the Pocket PC platform. While the built-in applications are OK, they aren't the most robust. Agenda Fusion packs a lot of power and can greatly improve your productivity.

The interface is very clean and intuitive. The program includes tabs for your calendar/appointments, tasks, contacts, notes, and projects. The Appointments tab includes several different views.

Appointment Views

Entering times for tasks or appointments are very easy thanks to the custom time entry panel.

Time Selector

The program includes a Journal, which lets you record when certain events happen (i.e. completing a task). You can also use the Journal to record specific bits of information (like a diary).

Journal

My favorite feature by far is Projects. Projects give you the ability to group items together so you can view them as a group. While I've seen this in other programs, they typically are limited to just tasks. In addition to tasks Agenda Fusion lets you add appointments and contacts, as well as sub-projects. You can either create new items from the project menu, or by using the pop-up menu on existing items. Projects also give you the ability to track your time by either using a timer (you start when beginning the task and stop when done) or by entering time manually.

Project

While Agenda Fusion has been around for several years for some reason I never gave it a try. I was pleasantly surprised by not only the power of this application but also its simple and easy-to-use interface. Another great program contained in the Best of Everything Software Package.

Note - I am not employed by Smartphone and Pocket PC Magazine. I'm a volunteer reviewing this product for the magazine.
