Extreme Time Management - The Windows Mobile Solution

Time Management. In a busy world, we hear about time management quite often. We hear business people saying they need to do it better. We hear experts telling us they will teach it to us. We hear it from the boss, and we hear it from out employees. It's everywhere, yet so few really do it well. How can something so important to peoples heavy laden schedules, seem to be so elusive? Where can I get more time, and what do I do with it when I do get it? What the heck does time management mean?

Viruses on mobile phone platforms

Having a (with Average Joes) not-that-popular mobile phone operating system (Windows Mobile, compared to Symbian) pays off sometimes (as with Mac or Linux, as opposed to Windows): we have almost absolutely no virus threats. (This is why, by the way, I tell everybody NOT to bother about installing any kind of Windows Mobile virus killers or remove the one already installed - for example, on some HTC Phone Edition devices.)

The situation is different on the (currently) market leader mobile phone operating system, Symbian.

Moving mail between folders to hide read mail to avoid deletion from the POP3 server

http://smartphonemag.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=19232

Q: When I delete a mail I've downloaded through POP3 in Pocket Inbox (a.k.a. Messaging in newer operating system versions), they get deleted from the mail server too the next time I make a connection to them. How can I "hide" uneeded, but not-to-be-deleted mail?

How does the WindowsCE system databases (WinCE DB's for short) store mail-related information?

http://smartphonemag.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=19093

This is another, previously, in public, uncharted (Google for 'pmailFolders') area of the Windows Mobile operating system – so, this is the first time extensive information is published on this subject. The Windows Mobile operating system (WM for short) handles the mail headers in the WinCE DB's and the actual mail bodies in the file system (under \Windows\Messaging) completely independently. (Note that the bodies of POP3/IMAP-downloaded mail include the full RFC 822 (and additional, for example, extended) headers. On the other hand, the mail bodies synchronized by ActiveSync (AS) don't. This is why you can't even see for example the sender/date in mail files that have been synchronized from your desktop Outlook if you peek into these files inside \Windows\Messaging. Otherwise, AS-synchronized and POP3/IMAP-downloaded mail is stored using exactly the same way on the PDA).
